About Me

Hi, I am Hafsa Adeel, a Freelance Make-up artist based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

I have always been passionate about art and one of the most beautiful expressions of art: Makeup! My love affair with make-up had been clearly apparent my whole life. It started from glamming up myself in the mirror,  my friends and family and getting appreciated for my talents in the process! That was when I decided to turn one of my greatest passions into work and I became a make-up artist.

I started my career by taking makeup training courses from Mc College in Kelowna. Later, I brushed up my skills by taking hair and makeup courses from the prestigious and one of the best hair and makeup artists in Vancouver, Blue Rose Artistry and picked up many trade secrets along the way. I regularly attend masterclasses with leading brands such as MAC and International Makeup Artists which keeps my passion alive and my skills sharp.

As I got numerous requests for wedding, client shoots and brand photoshoots, I officially began my career as a freelance make-up artist. I have since collaborated with various photographers, designers, brands and creative directors.

At the heart of it all, I love showing people how unique and beautiful they are and it fills my heart with warmth when I see my clients brimming with confidence after their makeup sessions. I believe in the power of make-up and I have a keen eye for detail and flawless perfection which reflects in my work.

Following my passion also brought me closer to other things I love such as travelling, meeting people and experiencing new cultures. And in my journey, I’ve had the opportunity to explore and work in amazing places. Having these things in my life every day make it all very exciting and I am definitely looking forward to new challenges.

I am also a wife and mother to the most adorable, handsome 5-year old who is too naughty for his own good!  So, juggling work and personal life can be a bit hard sometimes but I cherish each and every moment with my loved ones. Moreover, I am a firm believer that nothing can stop you if you have conviction. Above all, never stop believing in yourself.
